After the youth and mens teams Syriatel sponsors Syriatel Cup ( the Second International Aleppo Basket ball Championship )

For the ninth consecutive year, Syriatel Basketball tournament returns to encompass a big number of leading teams from different Arab and European countries.
 
The Second International Aleppo Basket ball tournament under the name “Syriatel Cup”, that will take place at Al-Assad Stadium in Aleppo from the 1st to the 8th of December, was officially announced during a press conference in the presence of Dr. Antoine Dioub, President of the Organizational Committee. Mr. Ahmad Mansour, President of the Sports Union Aleppo Branch, Mr. Jack Bachiani, Director of the Tournament, Mr. Mazen Al-Hajj Khalil from Smart Sport Company as well as Syriatel representative Mr. Bakri Al-Masri, Regional Sales manager were present at the press conference.

Mr. Al-Masri addressed Syriatel’s responsible role in supporting Syrian sports in general and basketball in particular, starting with the youth and men’s teams and reaching up to Syriatel Cup. Moreover, he talked about the great importance of Syriatel Cup in Aleppo considering that the audience of Aleppo is a big fan of basketball.
 
This championship is under the patronage of His Excellency Eng. Mohammed Naji Otri the prime minister of Syria.
