Syriatel meets Syria first national team before its trip to Turkey

Syriatel met Syria’s first national team participating in the Arab Championship held in Morocco from July 15 to 25, 2009 only a few hours before the team’s trip to Turkey.
 
During this meeting, Syriatel wished the team the best of luck and encouraged them to raise their country’s name and flag high.
 
It should be mentioned that Syriatel announced its sponsorship of Syria’s first national basketball team that is heading to the Arab Championship held in Morocco following its sponsorship of Syria’s youth team that participated and came sixteenth in the Youth World Cup.

This step is in corroboration of Syriatel’s pioneering in sponsoring Syrian national teams on the one hand and its faith in the Syrian basketball as well as its development and improvement on the other hand. Moreover, it aims at supporting the continuity of the first national team with its national Syrian cadres to prove that Syriatel is really the national company closest to Syrian sports as its signature “Closer to you” clearly indicates.
