Syria national youth basketball team heads to the World Cup

Syriatel’s faith in young Syrian talents as well as support of Syrian sports in general and basketball in particular led to the company’s exclusive sponsorship of Syria’s national youth team participating in the Youth World Cup that will begin next month in New Zealand.
 
Syriatel is accustomed to being a pioneer in sponsoring national Syrian teams and is one of the first national companies in Syria to prove their faith in Syrian basketball, working on developing and improving this sport through the annual Syriatel Championships.
 
It should be mentioned that our national youth team has been qualified for the World Cup after taking third position in the Asia Cup finals. Syriatel’s sponsorship of this team aims at building a strong Syrian team capable of snatching the limelight in the future as well as a rising Syrian generation that is both athletic and cultivated, in order to prove that Syriatel is really closer to Syrian sports and “closer to you”.
