Fadi Agha, Chief Commercial Officer, MTN commented: “We know and understand that needs differ among existing and prospect mobile users. MTN has with the new price plans taken the important step ahead and refined our Pay as you talk offer so it is really an offer for anyone with a need for mobile communication”.
The 3 Pay as you talk price plans are:
El Asli is the Areeba “standard” prepaid price plan with the unique pay per second. Only Areeba offers pay per second meaning a subscriber pays exactly for what is used. El Asli is the price plan for those who mainly do short calls.
B-Rahtak offers lower call tariffs, still pay per second and customers pay a small monthly fee. B-Rahtak is the plan for those who call a lot
Kalam is offering charging per minute and is the price plan that is preferable for subscribers who makes long calls and would prefer to be charged per minute with a flat rate for all destinations
Migration from price plan to another can easily be done through calling the IVR number 151
