mtc touch organizes its second public auction on new platinum mobile numbers

Under the high patronage of Telecom Minister Gebran Bassil and upon a special request from his end, mtc touch, organized its second public auction on new platinum mobile numbers on Monday, 24th of August, 2009 at the Metropolitan Hotel.
 
About 30 participants bid on 21 mtc touch platinum mobile numbers totaling a sum of half a million dollars. The most expensive number, 71-444444, was sold at 68,000 USD while the least expensive, 71-111222, went at 10,000 USD.
 
The public auction on mtc touch platinum mobile numbers came as a natural response to the high demand on the company’s innovative e-auction service and due to many requests to hold another public auction.

mtc touch Chief Commercial Officer Nadim Khater confirmed that the final results of this second public auction met the company’s expectations, also noting that the bidding prices attained were compatible with the bids achieved through the e-action service on www.mtctouch.com.lb
 
At the end of the evening, mtc touch announced that it will be holding a third public auction on the first day of Eid on the following platinum numbers:
