  • Empowered & Unstoppable: Springboard and SpringForward Graduates Take Centre Stage

Mobilk - Ooredoo celebrated the achievements of over 160 graduates from its flagship CSR programs, Springboard and SpringForward, in a memorable ceremony at the Grand Millennium Muscat on 5 November. Now in its 23rd and 10th sessions respectively, the event, held under the patronage of His Excellency Sayyid Salem bin Muslim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour, showcased Ooredoo’s commitment to empowering Oman’s future leaders.

During the event, Feras bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh, Director of Branding, Communications and Corporate Affairs at Ooredoo, delivered a keynote speech highlighting the transformative power of both programs in developing leadership and entrepreneurial skills. He expressed pride in the graduates from diverse entities, including government departments and women’s incubators from organisations like OMRAN, National Finance, Otaxi, and the Omani Women’s Association in Al-Awabi and Nakhal. He commended them for their dedication to enhancing their personal and professional lives and contributing to Oman’s Vision 2040.

"Through initiatives like Springboard and SpringForward, which benefited more than 5000 people, during which more than 7000 working hours were provided and 700 projects were completed in more than 50 entities in various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, we aim to build a foundation for sustainable growth. These programs equip Oman’s future leaders with the skills that extend beyond the workplace,” said Feras. “Our vision is to support the nation’s broader ambitions under Vision 2040 by fostering a community of empowered, skilled, and forward-thinking individuals ready to make a difference.”

The ceremony also included video presentations showcasing participant experiences, as well as an awards segment honouring exceptional projects selected by a judging panel. As the graduates move forward, Ooredoo’s commitment to supporting Oman’s next generation of leaders remains steadfast. By investing in initiatives that empower individuals, foster innovation, and support Oman’s socio-economic growth, Ooredoo continues to play a vital role in building a future-ready workforce aligned with the nation’s vision.
