Batelco First 3on3 Basketball Tournament Winners Announced

Cash Prizes for Team Event

Mobilk - Batelco’s 2012 3on3 Basketball Tournament, organized by the Company’s Youth Marketing Team  took place recently at Batelco Staff Centre in Hamala. Fourteen teams of five players each participated in the very challenging group stages to win a place in the final round.

The finalists were:-

Group A: 

•1st place – The Avengers

•2nd place – Prince7

•3rd place – Uniform Express

Group B:

•1st place – Rom. Phil

•2nd place – Aces

•3rd place – Bahrain Global Real States

The final teams  competed in a friendly but challenging environment with all matches regulated by referees from the Bahrain Basketball Association. Prince 7 took first  place for the BD1000 cash prize, Avengers were placed second and received BD600 cash while Aces finished 3rd to take home a cash prize of BD400. 

The Basketball  Tournament formed part of an exciting line-up of events aimed at Bahrain’s youth and follows on from Batelco’s first Motor Show, Batelco Street Art contest, Batelco Football Tournament and Ramadan Games Tournament.
