Batelco has announced an extra special offer as part of its ‘SimSim SMS’ service. From December 1st to 30th Batelco is offering 100 local (Batelco network only) and international SMS for all SimSim packages except O-net, for only BD1.5 with the amount to be deducted, upon the customer’s request, from his/her SimSim account.

Batelco General Manager Media & Government Relations Ahmed Al Janahi said that the SimSim SMS service has gained in popularity amongst customers in the Kingdom since its launch a few years ago, with the daily average of SMS’s sent and received by Batelco customers reaching millions.

“The month long promotion is aimed at adding extra value for customers over such occasions as National Day and Christmas when customers want to send greetings to their families and friends at home and overseas,” he said.

To register for the SimSim SMS Service, customers are kindly requested to send “100” to 4554 from their SimSim line. To check their SimSim SMS balance, customers can simply send “100 Balance” to 4554.
