Batelco customers and movie fans can now find out what’s showing at Bahrain’s Cinemas, anytime and anywhere with Batelco O Cinema show times service. The service, which is available for all cinemas in Bahrain, is a great value added service offered by Batelco, the Kingdom’s leading telecommunications provider.

"In order to receive a list of the movies showing at your favourite cinema, together with the timing schedule, simply text the name of the cinema to 4400," explained Batelco Group General Manager Media & Government Relations Ahmed Al Janahi.

"For example, to receive the details for Saar Cinema; send Saar to 4400….its as simple as that," he added.

Customers can also subscribe for free to receive the new schedule of movies which change every Thursday, by sending the message SUB followed by the Cinema name to 4400.

Once you are subscribed for the service, you will receive a text every Wednesday with the new listings and timings of the movies which begin on Thursday, for the cinema you have selected. Information is available for Seef 1, Seef 2, Saar, Dana, Awal, Al-Hamra and Al-Jazeera cinemas.

"Cinema information is also available for Batelco’s customers via their GPRS enabled mobile phones by accessing wap.o.com.bh," Mr. Al Janahi added.

The cost of each text received with the list of movies and times is 20 fils only.
