Qtel has slashed the cost of international video calls for the summer, so that people can maintain face-to-face contact with family and friends overseas.
Recognising that many people are separated from families and loved ones during the hot summer months, Qtel has introduced special promotional rates for Hala and Shahry customers.
Until 11 July, international video Calls will cost QR 0.69 per minute to all supported destinations for Hala and Shahry customers.
As an added bonus, Hala customers will be able to make video calls to Egypt, Sri Lanka and the Philippines for just QR 0.55 per minute.
The “International Video Calls” offer is the latest in a series of red-hot offers made available for all Qtel customers.
With Qtel’s unmatched international network, customers can link up and make video calls to 72 operators in 40 countries, including Gulf nations such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Bahrain; European countries like France, Germany and the UK; Asian destinations like Indonesia and Singapore and even as far afield as Australia.
Customers who have a mobile with two cameras can enjoy video calls by simply changing the network mode to 3G or Dual or UMTS on your phone. The world-class network provided by Qtel will ensure a high quality connection that will enable people to show loved ones how much they care.
During the promotional period, International Video calling will be even more cost effective for Qtel customers than standard international voice calling.
