Qtel is unveiling an extensive on-the-ground support campaign at this year’s Heir Apparent Cup Final, taking over a large area in the Fan Zone to provide supporters with a range of gifts and entertainment.
Fans across the nation feel a huge sense of anticipation about the final, with Al Gharrafa playing Al Arabi at Al Sadd Club, Doha.
Qtel has fully-supported the tournament with a special SMS campaign and a range of services, as well as hosting a visit from the 2010 Heir Apparent Cup Trophy tour at their headquarters.
To mark the historic occasion, visitors to Qtel’s stand will be able to collect team vests, balls, pens and other giveaways. There will also be face-painting and a range of children’s entertainment.
Special stands will serve traditional Qatari food and drink, while the whole area will be fully wirelessly-enabled, so that fans can access the Internet and message their friends in the build-up to the game.
Qtel has even erected two special football-shaped tents that fans can use to shelter from the sun.
The Heir Apparent Cup Final takes place at Al Sadd Club on Saturday 24 April. The match kicks off at 6:45 pm, while the Fan Zone will open from 3pm.
