Mobilk - The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) received at its headquarters in Dubai a delegation from the Department of Public Prosecution in Ras al-Khaimah. This visit came in the context of exchanging expertise and knowledge between institutions in order to improve government action, review best practices of the TRA, and benchmark against procedures and policies in place in both entities.
During the visit, the delegation learnt of the best ways to improve and streamline operational processes, how to re-engineer processes for operational risks, as well as methods of improving performance and boosting productivity to raise customer happiness.
The delegation was briefed on policies and plans for the management of property and assets that support environmental sustainability strategies, and on policies and programs related to asset maintenance and sustainability. The delegation also learnt about the most important measures on the implementation of green building standards.
Commenting on this visit, H.E. Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, TRA Director General, said: "We welcome the cooperation with other government entities and we have high confidence that the next stage requires us all to foster coordination and cooperation, in accordance with the directives of our wise leadership and embodying the team spirit towards achieve UAE Vision 2021. In this context, we welcome the staff from RAK Public Prosecution and affirm that such visit reflects their interest in our role in the management and organization of UAEs ICT sector. We thank them for the information they shared with us about their work and the prospects of mutual cooperation."
For his part, Chancellor Hassan Saeed Mhimd, Attorney General of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, said: "The visit is part of the Departments efforts to enhance its mutual cooperation with government entities, share experience and corporate knowledge with those entities and learn about the best applied practices and success stories in the government action system".
During its visit to TRAs office in Dubai, the delegation was briefed on key strategies and plans of the TRA in property management, customer service and shaping the future. Views and ideas were exchanged between the staff of the TRA and RAK Public Prosecution, which have benefited both parties and opened up new horizons for continued cooperation between the two in the future.
The visit agenda also included exploring future shaping tools, reviewing ongoing forward-looking experiences, and learning how to develop and measure benchmarks and risks of forward-looking initiatives.
