Ooredoo Introduces Easy Monthly Device Instalments for Shahry Business Customers

Mobilk - Reinforcing its commitment to be the Sultanate’s digital partner of choice, Ooredoo has introduced easy monthly payments for new smartphones when signing up for their Shahry Business Plans. Corporate customers will have the option to own the latest smartphones by paying either none or very little upfront fees and receive discounts of up to OMR 150, when selecting the right rate plan and contract duration. The announcement of Ooredoo’s device instalment plans means that postpaid customers can save more, as well as enjoy a wide array of smartphones choices.

Sultan Ahmed Al Wahaibi, Chief Business and Wholesale Officer at Ooredoo, said: “The new instalment model reaffirms our commitment to delivering nothing but the best to our customers. The Shahry Business Scheme will allow businesses to provide mobile broadband internet access to their employees through high-end smartphones and convenient instalment plans”. He added: “This offer will give our corporate clients the edge; by improving their accessibility, increasing operational efficiency, and enhancing management effectiveness at a low cost.”

Customers opting for this offer need to subscribe to a Shahry Business postpaid plan for a 12 or 24 month duration. Depending on the selected plan, mobile users will be prompted to pay upfront fees and receive a discount for devices priced at OMR 180 and above. After the down payment and receiving the assigned discount, the remaining fees will be adjusted according to the contract period. Those signing up for higher value plans will get larger discounts, less upfront fees and in some cases, zero down payment.

The new instalment scheme enhances the user experience for affordable prices. Initially rolled out for retail customers, the company has expanded the plan to include new and existing business customers.
