Mobilk - Reiterating their national commitment to ‘enjoy the internet’, Ooredoo Home Broadband customers will have a chance to own a free WiFi ‘mesh’ device (Linksys VELOP Tri-Band) worth OMR 169.9 to boost their WiFi coverage  by subscribing to  Fast and Superfast Fibre Home Broadband contracts of 50 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 300 Mbps and 1 Gbps. The offer will be valid for the next two months as part of the company’s commitment to provide digital solutions for customers to be constantly connected to their families and friends online. 

To comment on this valuable offer, Feras bin Abdallah Al Shaikh, Director of Consumer Sales at Ooredoo said: “Affirming our commitment to enrich the internet experience of our customers, we want them to have the best WiFi coverages at hand for easier communication and access to data. The premium WiFi device was designed so customers can continue exploring the digital world from the comfort of any corner of their homes”. He added: “As the internet continues to grow and dominate our lives and interactions, Ooredoo is determined to give people the products and services that permits them the freedom and flexibility to go online in in a convenient and an efficient manner”.

With the free WiFi device, Ooredoo customers will be able to enjoy the internet with a simple plug-and-play device. Customers will also get consistent fantastic WiFi speeds and enhanced security controls, allowing users to change their WiFi name and password and also set up guest accounts. There is also the option to control the speed of devices and allocate the speed or bandwidth to specific users.

The free WiFi device is available to new and existing Ooredoo customers, including those on the 500GB, 24-month plans. For Superfast Fibre Home Broadband plans, new customers can register by sending their ID and location to 95103000 and existing users can upgrade their plan by calling 1514. Alternatively, those who are interested can visit any of the 50 Ooredoo stores to take advantage of this value-packed offer.
