Top Spot for Ooredoo at ‘Partners in Progress’ 2018 Awards

Mobilk - Ooredoo marks 2018 with yet another win for best Telecommunications Merchant at the ‘Partners in Progress’ awards. Held at the Grand Millennium Hotel and organised by Bank Muscat, the event was attended by business executives and representatives from the public and private sectors. Ooredoo’s Chief Financial Officer, Abdul Razzaq Bin Abdul Wahid Al-Balushi accepted the award on behalf of the company, thanking Bank of Muscat for their continuous support and recognition of the Telecom industry. 

The award aims to encourage businesses for their contributions in elevating the e-commerce sector by promoting cashless payment methods. Electronic payments are now the most convenient and secure form of payment with most merchant partners choosing it as their preferred alternative. Among the winners were many other companies from a diverse business background such as hotels, airlines, government institutions and hypermarkets.
