Mobilk - Offering Omani youth the opportunity to exhibit their artistic talent, Ooredoo awarded Manal Al Battashi with 300 OMR for her 5th place finish in the highly popular Shababiah art competition. Drawing on Shababiah’s power to unite youth from across Oman, Manal’s artwork celebrated the brand’s ability to connect people in the Sultanate from diverse backgrounds and regions.
Al Battashi commented on her participation, saying, “Thanks to Shababiah, the youth of Oman now have instant access to everything we need in today’s digital world. From unlimited internet and strong networks to a large quota of mobile minutes, artists like me can now send images or work through the internet seamlessly. With Shababiah there are no limits or barriers and that is what my painting represents.”
She added, “I feel very proud to be one of the top five contestants. I would like to thank God for giving me this talent and my parents for their constant support and encouragement. I would also like to thank Ooredoo for creating this unique platform and giving us the chance to showcase our creativity.”
