Mobilk - Using the power of football to inspire the next generation of young talent, Ooredoo will be hosting the 2016 edition of the hugely popular Ooredoo-Paris-Saint Germain (PSG) Football Clinic on 25 and 26 March at the Oman Club in Al Khuwair. The elite clinic will give Omani footballers between the ages of six and sixteen the chance to hone their skills and find out exactly what it takes to be a champion under the guidance of the French Premier League leader’s expert coaches.
“Our global partnership with PSG has enabled us to bring this incredibly exciting opportunity to Oman’s young footballing talent for the second successive year,” said Kumail Al Moosawi, Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer at Ooredoo. “Led by PSG Academy Soccer School International Head Coach Benj Houri, the PSG coaching team will give Oman’s youth some world-class training in tactical and defensive playing as well as technical skills. They will also receive tips on match preparation, injury management, stamina training and nutrition. But more than this, the coaches will be encouraging the young players to work for their dreams beyond the pitch.”
Al Moosawi added: “All applications, whether on social media or in person, have been assessed by Ooredoo-PSG coaches. Selection was done based solely on talent demonstrated”.
The Ooredoo-PSG Football Clinic continues the leading telecoms company’s commitment to developing the young people of Oman through sport, encouraging a healthy lifestyle and helping them develop their skillsets to achieve their ambitions and aspirations in sport and beyond.
