#LoveOman Video Goes Viral with Over Half a Million Views in First Three Days

Mobilk - With only a week to go before Oman’s 45th National Day, the #LoveOman video has gone viral with its mesmerising acapella touch. Sponsored by Ooredoo, the first-of-its kind Islamic production, without any musical instruments, features three of the region’s biggest talents and has gathered more than 550,000 views on YouTube since being released on 4 November. 

Shot in Jebel Akhdar and in the Cinema, the seven minute clip features a group of Omani youth singing acapella, interspersed with shots of acting sensation Buthaina Al Raisi. Led by the soulful vocals of Khaliji star Al Wasmi, the video also includes the work of world-renowned Omani poet Mazin Al-Haddabi.

We are delighted to have played a part in this special tribute to Oman for National Day.” 

The video has generated worldwide attention for its quality and unique production value. It has proven to be an instant hit, having been shared over 3,600 times across all social media platforms. To date, users have spent a combined watch time of over three years streaming the song.
