The Sharjah Airport Authority today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Etisalat Facilities Management, a member of Etisalat Services Holding LLC, to provide consultancy that will enhance the facility management services provided at Sharjah International Airport.
MoU was signed by Mr. Ali Salem Al Madfa, Director Sharjah Airport Authority and Mr. Mustafa Ahmed Al Ateeq, General Manager of Etisalat Facilities Management, at the Sharjah Airport Authority head office in Sharjah International Airport.
Mr. Ali Salem Al Madfa, Director Sharjah Airport Authority, said: “This agreement is an extension of our existing partnership with Etisalat. This initiative will help to improve our services and will enable passengers and airlines the full benefit of the facilities located inside Sharjah International Airport. Both of our organizations have conducted extensive studies to identify the best ways to enhance the level of services provided by the airport and we are delighted to extend our partnership with Etisalat which we are sure will generate fruitful results. We also would like to confirm our support to the Etisalat Facilities Management team in accomplishing the goals of this project.”
Mr. Mustafa Ahmed Al Ateeq, General Manager Etisalat Facilities Management said: “This agreement reinforces our strategic collaboration with the Sharjah Airport Authority. The project represents a new working area for Etisalat Facilities Management, and we will bring the extensive experience that we have gathered from managing Etisalat’s operations in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. We are fully committed to participate in the development of local communities and to help organizations provide their customers with the highest quality of facilities and services.”
According to the MoU Etisalat Facilities Management will study the current facility management services provided by Sharjah Airport Authority, provide consultation and recommendations to develop and implement new processes.
Etisalat Facilities Management was established in the year 2007, after the merger of Etisalat’s specialized maintenance teams responsible for the operator’s buildings, towers and other technical and commercial facilities across the UAE. Etisalat Facilities Management now provides integrated services for facility management including electrical, mechanic, civil and general management services. Etisalat Facilities Management maintained its broad experience through providing services to Etisalat.
