To help customers enjoy the best of both worlds, Qtel today launched its latest service, Shahry Control, which offers the strongest features of its pre- and post-paid mobile phone services.
With Shahry Control, customers will benefit from the great rates for international and local calls, SMS and data download made available for every post-paid customers. Plus, they will be able to control their spending using top-ups, in the same way as Hala customers.
Shahry Control customers will pay QR200 monthly in return for QR200 worth of credit that customers can use for their calls, SMS and data. They receive the same detailed monthly bill showing all costs as standard Shahry customers, but benefit from the peace of mind of knowing they’ll never go over the QR200 spend unless they choose to top-up using cards, e-vouchers or online facilities.

Customers using the Shahry Control service enjoy a standardized call rate of QR 0.35/minute for peak rate local calls, and QR 0.30/minute for off-peak local calls. If they don’t use the full QR200 in a month, the balance is carried over as credit for the next month; ensuring people always get full value for money.
In addition to the standardized call rates, Shahry Control customers will benefit from the huge range of Qtel call promotions, including the exciting QR 0.55 international call promotion, which offers amazing rates through to February.
