Mobilk - Empowering the future generation and providing them with the necessary tools to succeed, Ooredoo has upgraded its popular Digital Tutorial application, adding even more study material. The new update includes additional biology, physics, chemistry and maths content for students in the eleventh grade to guide and support them with their studies.
The app offers a variety of resources also for students from fifth to twelfth grade, who can use the unique mind-maps, an additional feature designed to guide them with their studies. To further motivate university students and job seekers, the app gives access to four new courses, certified by some of the most prestigious universities such as Harvard University.
At the forefront of digital educational technology since its launch in 2018, Ooredoo’s Digital Tutorial App has received more than 170 million views in the last year. The average number of active users on a daily basis was approximately 14,000 during peak hours, with an average view time of 21 minutes per student. Since the start of this academic year, over 808,000 students accessed the learning materials available and the number of registered students currently stands at 200,000.
This digital initiative falls under the umbrella of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme, Goodwill. The app offers a wide variety of training courses on HTML and programming, English and IELTS tests, as well as specialised topics from grade one to grade twelve. It also contains a number of courses and lessons on Java, information security, cloud computing, and IC3 global accreditation. Users can even learn about the Fourth Industrial Revolution and self-development courses that are designed for trainers, teachers and psychologists from the Sultanate and the Middle East.
