Batelco Motor Show Success with Fun for all the Family

Mobilk - Batelco’s annual Motor Show was hailed a huge success by participants and spectators. The event took place on Friday March 17 at Batelco’s Hamala Headquarters. The 2017 show, organised by the Company’s Youth Segment, followed on from the success of previous years and featured various activities targeting motor sport fans and the public, including families. 

The activities included a Car display followed by awards for the best three cars in each category, and a Motor Bike display followed by awards for the best three motor bikes in each category. Visitors at the event also got involved in the voting with a special category, Best of the Best, where the audience voted for the best car and best bike.

Prizes were awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in 17 categories with first place winners receiving BD200, a trophy and a certificate; 2nd place winners received BD100 plus a trophy and certificate while 3rd place winners received a trophy and certificate. The Best of the Best Winner in the Bike category was presented with a diamond watch sponsored by Yousuf A. Wahab Al Hawaj & Sons while the Best of the Best Car winner took home a Nikon Camera sponsored by Ashrafs. A number of Batelco’s executive management attended to present the prizes.

To ensure fun for all the family there was a great line-up of added entertainment which featured DJ Outlaw, Bovlix and rap artiste Flipperachi with Baraa Abdulla acting as Emcee for the day. Special activities for children included Kids Karting and cartoon portrait drawing

Batelco Bahrain CEO Eng. Muna Al Hashemi said that Batelco was delighted with the attendance with huge crowds of all ages enjoying the great day of automotive fun and added entertainment.

“The Show attracted an amazing array of cars and bikes, many of which are works of precision and beauty. With the addition of music, food, activities and special offers, there was something to please everyone.”
