Ooredoo Named Top Telecommunications Merchant at ‘Partners in Progress’ Awards 2017

Mobilk - For the third year in a row, Ooredoo was named the top Telecommunications Merchant at the annual ‘Partners in Progress’ awards based on its outstanding performance throughout 2016. The event, the 12th organised by Bank Muscat, was celebrated at the Sheraton Oman Hotel where Raed Dawood, Director of Government Relations and Corporate Affairs, accepted the award on behalf of Ooredoo, in front of an audience comprised of the Sultanate’s top business executives. 

The Partners in Progress Awards are run by Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the Sultanate, to honour merchant partners in the public and private sector for their outstanding contributions to the card business. The Partners in Progress award is regarded as a measure of Bank Muscat’s success in changing the customer payment preference from cash to card. The winning institutions and companies were chosen from different sectors ranging from government services and automotive to airlines, telecommunications, hotels, hypermarkets and charities.
