Orange Jordan today announced it will bring iPhone 3G to Jordan on December 18th 2008.
iPhone 3G combines all the revolutionary features of iPhone through Orange GPRS/EDGE service*, such as built-in GPS for expanded location-based mobile services and iPhone 2.0 software which includes support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and runs thousands of third party applications available through the new App Store.
Orange Jordan is launching a range of plans to ensure that customers have the very best mobile internet experience.
"We are excited to be the only network provider to offer iPhone 3G in Jordan starting 18th December 2008. With our Edge/GPRS capabilities and widespread broadband coverage, Orange Jordan customers in the Kingdom will be able to experience the full iPhone 3G experience,” said Majd Shweikeh, CEO of Orange Mobile.
Customers can purchase the iPhone handset in selective Orange shops at Tla'a Al Ali, Sweifieh, Mecca Mall, Smart Buy, Garden's, Khayyam, Zarqa, Irbid and Aqaba.

The combination of widespread GPRS/EDGE and Wi-Fi networks, allowing the customers to fully enjoy the mobile Internet almost wherever they go. In addition, Orange Jordan plans include everything needed for a great customer experience: voice credits, SMS, data traffic and WiFi credits.
