Samsung shows off its LTE and expanded mobile WiMAX range at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Samsung claimed it is the first manufacturer to showcase an LTE handset to support multi-vendor interoperability.
"We have invested a lot of R&D and marketing resources in 4G Wireless Systems over the last few years," said Samsung Telecom Systems Division vice president Hyojong Lee.
"We see increasing demand for data services, regardless whether indoors or outside, even on the move. With our end-to-end Total Solution for the 4G wireless system, we will lead the way in this mobile broadband era."
Samsung also unveiled a mobile WiMAX Ubicell notebook and two smartphones to work with 4G technologies.
