Marking the special occasion of Eid Al Adha and the 38th UAE National Day, du is offering special calling and SMS rates on Arafat day and all 3 days of Eid Al Adha from 26 - 29th November and on UAE 38th National day on 2nd December, allowing customers to celebrate the special occasion by easily connecting with friends and family back home and throughout the country.
On Eid and National Day, all international calls from mobile and fixed lines will be charged at du’s off-peak rate, while national SMS messages will be charged at a special rate of 15 fils, and international SMS at just 45 fils each.
Customers who have subscribed to the special India calling offer can call India all day for 1.67 fils per second (AED 1 per 60 seconds).
Customers who have subscribed for the IDD off-peak offer calling their friends and family in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bangladesh, the Philippines, or the USA from 2 to 4 in the afternoon, and from 9 pm to 7 am and on full day on Friday will be charged just 1.67 fils per second (AED 1 per 60 seconds); while those with loved ones in Egypt, Syria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, UK, or the will be charged a calling rate of 2.08 fils per second (AED 1.25 per 60 seconds) during this period. Standard off-peak rates during the rest of the hours in the day will apply.
