After the Fennec, the mobile version of Mozillas Firefox web browser, Nokia N900 users can now enjoy the Google Chrome running on their Maemo-based smartphones. It is still a pretty early version of the app were talking about and it isnt an official release by Google but it certainly caught our attention.

The Chromium is based on the Debian 32-bit release and you can get it directly from its developers website. Considering the fact that this is actually the desktop version of the browser ported over to the Nokia N900, you might want to overclock your phones processor in order to make it work faster.
There are still some bugs but the Chromium is stable enough to be usable. The browser manages to achieve a perfect 100 on the Acid3 test and packs full Flash support (Flash video included).
