for the Kuwaiti community in Jordan,Zain Jordan launches Al Deera line

Zain, part of the Zain Group, the leading mobile operator in the Middle East and Africa, announced today the launch of its new “Al Deera” line for the Kuwaiti community in Jordan. The announcement was made during luncheon held by Zain in the presence of the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Jordan, Sheikh Faisal Al Hmoud Al Malek Al Subah. 

During the event held in the presence of members of the Kuwaiti embassy, investors and businessmen, Zain CEO Dr. AbdelMalek Al Jaber said: “Zain’s new offer reflects the special interest the company holds towards the Kuwaiti community in Jordan, reflecting the special historical relation between both countries”.

Al Jaber added that Zain’s presence in Jordan reflects the strong ties between Jordan and Kuwait given that Jordan was Zain Group’s first expansion point, noting that the new line, offers special privileges that meet the needs of the Kuwaiti diplomatic body, investors and Kuwaiti students studying in Jordan in a way that facilitates their contacts with their families and businesses through low calling rates.

With the new Deera line, customers can make calls to other members of the same offer for 1 piaster per minute. Al Deera line customers can also call Zain customers who are not part of the offer for 2 piasters per minute and make off net calls for 5 piasters per minute.

Al Deera line customers will also be able to make calls to Kuwait at a rate of only 12 piasters per minute. The offer also includes competitive monthly subscription for JD 2 for prepaid lines and JD 3 for post paid lines.

Through the new offer, Zain offers special services that include direct calling services with the Kuwaiti embassy, Kuwait airlines, National Bank of Kuwait, through Al Deera call center which has been launched especially for Al Deera customers for 30 piasters and offers tourism guide services for the same price.
