Zain Jordan hosts Mawaed Al Raham in governorates across the Kingdom

Zain, part of the Zain Group, the leading mobile operator in the Middle East and Africa, holds Mawaed Al-Rahman in governorates across the Kingdom for the ninth consecutive year during the Holy Month of Ramadan. 

Zain’s Mawaed Al Rahman is one of the main initiatives launched by the company during the holy month through which it aims to promote social solidarity amongst Jordanians.

The initiative reflects the humanitarian side of Zain’s strategy that is built on the contribution towards the social development and its sustainability. Through the Mawaed, Zain provides more than 32,000 iftar meals in seven governorates including, two in Amman (Eighth circle and Wehdat), Zarqa, Irbid, Kerak, Aqaba, Salt, Maan, for ten days per governorate.

Zain General Manager Dr. AbdelMalek Al Jaber said: “the company prepared the necessary outlets and infrastructure services for the venues on which the tents will be launched. The tents have been equipped with the necessary elements for the feast including tables, seats and a praying section, all in a comfortable atmosphere for fasters.

Al Jaber added that the company is continuing its strategy that focuses on adopting a robust and sustainable policy along with a comprehensive program that offers tangible results in terms of social development and improving the standards of living of citizens. He further noted that this became a yearly initiative which has been launched by Zain during the holy month in all governorates and became a role for other companies to follow.

It is worth mentioning that the company's social programs offer support to numerous sectors, pointing out that the Month of Ramadan witnesses every year the launch and support of many initiatives. This year, the company bought a home for Al Fiqh family and is offering furniture and home appliances. The company also offers a yearly direct financial support to the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and its annual "Towards Life" Campaign. Zain also continues to receive requests put to the company's Relief Fund which offers help to needy individuals and families not included in the National Aid Fund.
