The General Authority for Regulating the Telecommunications Sector finalizes its preparations to celebrate the 46th National Day of the United Arab Emirates

Mobilk - The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has completed all preparations for the 46th National Day celebrations of the UAE. The list of events on the occasion included many heritage, cultural and national activities that reflect the originality and history of the country and reflect a sense of honor and privilege in this precious occasion.

Commenting on this occasion, H.E. Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, TRA Director General, said: "We are proud today with a 46-year-long march of achievements, giving and goodness for everyone living on this land. The experience of the Union is one of the most successful experiences in our region and was laid down by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, in cooperation with his brothers the rulers of the seven emirates. Today, the UAE, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, President of the UAE, continues to follow the same path and approach to provide a decent life for all citizens of the UAE."

H.E. added: "I reiterate on behalf of all the TRA employees and the institutions of the ICT sector in the UAE the pledge of commitment and hard continuous work in order to achieve all the objectives set by the leadership in this regard and improve the status and name of the UAE and raise its flag high in all regional and international events and forums."

The events on the calendar include a focus on many values and concepts that have become part of the lifestyle and nature of life and work in the UAE, including innovation, happiness and positivity. A number of outstanding employees who have contributed to the enrichment, promotion and success of the "I am Positive, I am happy" initiative will be honored as part of the celebrations that were specially prepared for this occasion at the TRAs headquarters in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The events also included a special art exhibition for the products of people of determination (special needs), in addition to shows of traditional combat teams, local cooking, Arabic coffee stand, and distribution of national day gifts to employees and customers.

As for the activities targeting the public on this day, the TRA launched a contest through the official account of one of the influential personalities on social networking sites, and a special national poem dedicated to the leaders and elders of the country was composed by Eng. Ghaith Al Mazaina, which will be delivered during the ceremony and broadcasted on media channels and social networking sites.
