Mobilk - GITEX Technology Week has been a proving ground for 3D printing, virtual reality, and drones.
At this year’s event, Panasonic is showcasing its BalloonCam entertainment drone-shaped balloon for the first time outside of Japan. The BalloonCam can enhance fan and visitor experiences by safely hovering over areas and projecting live video and images.
The balloon encased camera enables the drone to produce hi-res videos and relay them using a projector and LEDs and allows for high-flying footage of fans and visitors.
GITEX Technology Week runs 16-20 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre. See www.gitex.com for more information.
