Motorola drops six cheap phones

 

Motorola covertly dropped six low end phones - so covertly, that five of those dont even have photos. These phones aim for affordability rather than high-end features, so theyre not like those two Android-running phones from earlier today.

The new phones start off small and simple - the Motorola WX161 and WX181 feature FM radio and integrated flashlight. The Motorola WX181 offers several features over the WX161 - 1.5" color display and conference calls for up to 5 people.

The Motorola WX260 boasts up to 11 hours of music playback and a WAP browser. The WX161, WX181 and the WX260 are bars, but the Motorola WX265 is a clamshell with Bluetooth connectivity and a microSD card slot (up to 2GB cards).

The Motorola WX290 features a bigger screen - 1.8 inches - and a digital camera. MMS, flashlight, WAP, FM radio and Bluetooth also grace the WX290 specs sheet. If you want that package in a clamshell form, then the Motorola WX295 is the one for you.

We dont have pricing info, but if we had to guess, wed say "Not Much!" The launch date is also unknown, but wed like to see photos first (in Internet terms "Pics or it didnt happen!").
