TRA Celebrates UAE’s 42nd National Day with its employees

Mobilk - In celebration of the UAE 42nd National Day, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) announced a distinctive program of celebration including several activities and unique initiatives to commemorate the 42nd anniversary of founding the UAE with the participation of TRA employees in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi offices.

Commenting on the occasion, H.E. Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim, Director General of TRA said: “We celebrate the UAE national day with feelings of joy, fervor and pride to be part of this great nation blessed with wealth, stability and all means of luxurious living. As we celebrate the 42nd anniversary of the union, we feel grateful to the founding fathers and their great wisdom that guides and motivates us to exert our best efforts for the prosperity of this nation.”

“We would not have been able to keep this momentum without our leaders’ far-sighted vision, their strong will and determination that attained the prosperity of this country; By best using its resources to achieve the goals of comprehensive and sustainable development in all economic, social, technical, cultural and scientific sectors. We seize this opportunity to extend our sincere loyalty to HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE President, and his brother HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and promise them to continue gearing up the hard work towards achieving all UAE’s strategic goals in all fields,” he added.

The TRA organized a photography competition on its Instagram account where 5 winners will be announced on 5 December 2013. Furthermore, a large corner in the TRA building will be dedicated to showcase a collection of historical photos to introduce the new generation to our rich heritage, and show them the great development and progress achieved during the Union journey. Also, a tent will be set up outside the building where various types of cultural shows and dances, traditional Emirati cuisine, henna painting and Arabic calligraphy will be provided.
