  • Ooredoo Hosts Digital Transformation Discussion with Top Private Sector Leaders

Mobilk - Ooredoo recently organised a meeting at The Chedi Muscat hotel with senior executives from different industries to discuss and assess the outlook of the digital transformation that lies ahead in 2018. The event welcomed Yousuf Al-Ojaili, President of British Petroleum Oman, as the guest of honor who detailed the significant role that the Khazzan project is currently playing in further diversifying Oman’s economy. This was  a unique opportunity for both the company and industry leaders to engage in an open dialogue on how, together, they can prepare to make each organisation future ready and share their business technology needs.

Ian Dench, Chief Executive Officer at Ooredoo said: “As the Sultanate’s digital partner, it is important for us to connect with our major business clientele and help them grow their organisations while staying connected to their customers. Part of becoming  the preferred business ICT partner in this transformational technological age, Ooredoo is introducing new and advanced solutions to take businesses to the next level. This event was an opportunity for us to highlight several ways in which Ooredoo is already preparing to overcome future challenges and improve efficiency.”

The topics under discussion included Ooredoo’s Business App, which is the only B2B application that allows businesses to manage all of their base plans and bundles, perform transactions, and make payments.. Participants also discussed the Cloud solutions, introduced in 2017, which enables companies to store, access and back up data securely via virtual machines with a reliable cost effective solution, saving on hardware and IT resources.

All of these products are available to all businesses in Oman and can be tailored to fit any size or budget.  Companies interested in implementing these services or finding out more can visit   www.ooredoo.om/Business.
