An official and reliable source from Syriatel Company denied what is being circulated in newspapers about selling a part of Syriatel’s shares to any other company such as Zain or Turk cell. Moreover, the company administration confirmed that it completely ruled out offering its shares or part thereof for sale for the time being.
 
Syriatel has achieved good results in 2008 thanks to the Board of Directors’ instructions as well as the plan it set at the beginning of last year. Hence, the company’s performance increased by seriously focusing on controlling expenditures while developing proceeds.
