Samsung is to release the Solid Extreme handset, a ruggedised device, through O2 and Vodafone later this month.
"Our ruggedised phones have proved extremely popular, and the Samsung Solid Extreme is set to raise the bar again," said Samsung Mobile UK and Ireland vice president Mark Mitchinson.
"Its vital to have a reliable phone that you can totally depend on in all conditions. The Solid Extreme does all this without compromising on technology, applications and the usual Samsung style."
The Solid Extreme follows the Solid and B2700 handsets.
