Zain, part of the Zain Group, the leading mobile telecommunications provider in the Middle East and Africa, launched on Monday the new "Thawani" line by which calls will be charged by the second.
Through its new offer, the company will enable its customers to enjoy the full benefits of their call to other Zain subscribers by paying only for the exact duration of the call.
The new offer is one of the many launched by the company during the past three months of which the latest was offering its prepaid customers 100% credit bonus upon re-charging their prepaid lines. The offer has prompted other company to follow lead after the success this new offer has enjoyed.
Also through this offer, customers can chose a "super" number and call for 1 piaster per minute.
The Day Night + customers will be automatically transferred under the new "Thawani" offer, while customers of the other offers will be able to subscribe to the new offer by calling 1616.
Zain's CEO Saad Nasir said: "The new "Thawani" line reflects the company's strategy that aims to offer customers the best value for their money". Nasir noted that such commitment is manifested by the company's chain of offers launching on a continuous basis to meet the various needs and expectations of its customers. "The company, being the leading mobile operator in the country, seeks to offer the best prices for its customers" he added.
Zain's Director of Marketing Essam Badawi said that the company, with the largest customer base in Jordan, seeks to develop the telecommunications market and expand its range of offers for its customers. Badawi added that the company's effort is reflected through the market, urging competitors to develop matching offers, which will ultimately benefit the Jordanian customer.
