Zain, part of the Mobile Telecommunications Company (MTC), announced the launch of its new "Nakshet Mokh" service, offered through SMS and MMS in cooperation with Mazaj FM radio station. The service allows subscribers to listen to excerpts from the popular "Nakshit Mokh" program before being broadcasted live on Mazaj FM. The service is based on uploading sound files using the WAP technology to provide Zain subscribers with entertaining clips twice a week.
The program, presented by the talented Nadim Sarraj known as Raji Dawwarah, is very popular amongst Jordanians due to its light sense of humor that addresses different social phenomena through various settings.
Mazaj FM, launched in 2005, became very popular with its special programs and variety of tunes. The station is currently launching a number of new programs in addition to a new website (www.mzazajfm.com) with new features. Zain's senior Data Manager Ziad Al Masri said that mobile phones are not only restricted for voice services, but became a tool that provides entertainment anywhere and at any time. "Zain is on the same path of international mobile operators when it comes to services" he added. Al Masri also noted that having such a service is part of the company's continuous work towards keeping up to date with and meeting customers' needs.
The company currently offers various services through SMS and MMS that are varied in content and which suits all its customers, classified according to their age, specialization and interests. To join the service, subscribers need to send the word NAKSHEH to 92020. Nakshit Mokh will be offered to Zain subscribers free of charge until the August 20, afterwhich a cost of 20 piasters per sound file received, in addition to 3 fils per kilo byte downloaded will be incurred. To date, Zain has launched many services through short SMS and MMS including its latest IKBIS, through which subscribers can view the best of the top uploaded videos on the IKBIB.com site through their mobile phones. This, in addition to other services including Hala Ammi, the Abu Mahjoub and Abu Nahfout channels, amongst others.
