Batelco Launches Services in Oman

End-to-end services to Bahrain and Oman-based businesses

Mobilk - Batelco, Bahrain’s leading integrated communications company is demonstrating its position as a provider of cutting-edge services with the launch of MPLS IP VPN interconnectivity in partnership with Omantel, the leading service provider of communication solutions in Oman. 

The launch of services is the fruition of an ongoing collaboration between Batelco and Omantel. Both leading organisations enhanced their long term collaboration through the signing of a partnership agreement on the sidelines of ITW (International Telecoms Week) which was held in Chicago, US, earlier this year. 

The partnership agreement, which allows bi-lateral Data IP Services to be sold between Bahrain and Oman, also facilitates one-stop-shop transit services to Batelco’s and Omantel’s carrier partners, enabling both parties to extend corporate VPN solutions between their respective markets. 

Batelco is very pleased to be able to provide state-of-the-art, end-to-end MPLS VPN services to Bahrain and Oman-based businesses that wish to establish secure inter-office connectivity between both locations. Through this agreement, Batelco and Omantel looks forward to further strengthening their offerings to carrier and corporate customers in all GCC and Middle Eastern countries as well as locations around the globe.
