Orange Jordan, the sole integrated telecom operator in the Kingdom, signed an agreement with Al Ahliyyah Amman University aimed at developing a Telemarketing sales center inside the University campus.

By virtue of the agreement signed by Mr. Francois de Loynes, Executive Vice President at Jordan Telecom Group and Prof. Dr. Maher Salim, University President, the center will belong to the Group and will contribute in preparing the university students and training them using Orange marketing and telecommunications skills and techniques.

“This agreement reflects the special relationship that ties Orange with Al Ahliyyah Amman University, for it’s considered as a new initiative from Orange towards Jordanian students, especially Ahliyyah Amman students. The center will train them and develop their skills to work as marketing representatives selling Orange services over the phone in a part time job, as they will gain some work experience and monetary benefit”, said Mr. Francois de Loynes.

Mr. de Loynes also added: “We are keen at associating our strategies with the Royal Vision that calls for private organizations to contribute in developing the local community, and supporting the Jordanian youth for fighting unemployment and poverty by creating job opportunities. This will contribute in building capable manpower  ready to enter the labor market”.

On the other side, the President of Al Ahliyyah University underlined the importance of this partnership and the relationship between the university and the local community, for the benefit it brings to all parties.  He also emphasized on the importance of partnering in other fields such as e-learning.
