Wataniya Palestine joins the International Telecommunication Union

This week Wataniya Palestine Telecom was accepted as a new sector member of the International Telecommunication Union  (ITU).

The ITU is the leading United Nations agency for information and communication technologies whose mission  is to enable the growth and sustained development of telecommunications and information networks around the world and to facilitate universal access to the benefits of ICT advancements. 

WPT’s membership in the ITU is another important step in our engagement with the organizations that govern, develop and support the telecommunications industry around the world.
