XPress Telecommunications has announced the release of new competitive
rates for its Push-to-Talk service. Tailored for both corporate and retail
packages, the new rates, which are set to bring subscribers further savings,
come in line with the company’s strategy of offering value added services that
suite the customers’ different needs.
Ashraf Samawi, XPress Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, said, “The success of
the Push-to-Talk service has been in its unique offering of instantaneous and
unlimited communication at a set flat fee. Today we come to further reduce this
fee, thus offering additional value to our customers.”
The new rates, effective as of March 1st, offer the PTT service for as little as JD
10 per month for unlimited talking time. The rates slightly vary depending on the
size of the group, but do not exceed JD 14.
Minute rates for the mobile service remain the same, but provide savings due to
the new billing per second method, which the company adopted as a first in the
Jordanian market at the start of the new year. Billing per second only accounts
for the precise, per second talking time of subscribers without incurring extra
costs for time they have not actually used, as is the case with the industry used
billing per minute.
Samawi added, “Our strategy from the beginning has been to present customers
with a unique offering that corresponds to their different needs and uses. These
new rates, coupled with our billing per second, give our customers today the
most comprehensive communication solution that allows them the versatility to
conduct their business while controlling their costs.”
