Subscribers of XPress Telecommunications are currently benefiting from low international calling rates offered by the company through its mobile services. With no premiums added to the basic tariffs, XPress’ rates match those offered by Jordan Telecom, enabling users to enjoy landline rates regardless of what time of day the service is being used or which day of the week. “The company has opted to forego the premium that is usually added to the basic tariff in order to give our customers additional value on their mobile services,” said Ashraf Samawi, XPress Chief Sales and Marking Officer. He added, “Many businesses require international contact when on the go but have reservations about utilizing their mobiles for such use because of the extra costs incurred. XPress comes to alleviate that burden and provide its customers with the flexibility of conducting their international businesses freely without the worry of any additional expenses, and irrespective of the time of use or day.” Based on iDEN technology, XPress offers mobile services in conjunction to its core Direct Connect service, which enables unlimited and nationwide one-to-one or one-to-many walkie talkie calls at a flat monthly fee. In recent times, the company has further enhanced its mobile services with the launch of its “Line 2” service, which allows subscribers to own two different phone lines with separate numbers on one SIM card within the same phone. XPress is the sole operator to offer this service, with iDEN being the only technology that allows such a capability. Other added value mobile services recently introduced include the
(0900
Numbers) service, which gives users access to a wide range of information
