Samsung releases watchphone in Ireland only for €399 SIM free, but no plans to range it in the UK
Samsung today announced that the S9110 watchphone will be available in Ireland from December 1 for a limited time only. There are no plans at this stage to launch the device in the UK market.
The £500 LG watchphone, which was released in the UK in August, exclusively on Orange and sold out when it was made available solely in the networks' Bond Street store.
The S9110 features a 1.76 inch full touch screen customised for the watch as well as speakerphone, music player, Bluetooth and voice recognition. The device enables users to check their email through Outlook.
A spokesperson for Samsung has confirmed that the S9110 is not currently available in the UK and at this stage there are no plans for a launch.
Orange has confirmed that it has no plans to release the LG watchphone in Ireland.
The S91100 will be priced from €399 SIM free at selected Carphone Warehouse stores.
