  • Ooredoo E-Recharge Available at Shell Service Stations

Mobilk - Ooredoo is happy to announce the signing of a partnership with Shell Oman for the sale of their mobile recharges, which will be available in Shell service stations throughout the Sultanate. Customers will be able to quickly and easily get their e-recharge Ooredoo credit from the comfort of their vehicles at Shell service stations. As the company continues to expand the availability of its products, this additional option for users to recharge ensures that everyone can enjoy the internet and stay connected.

Feras bin Abdullah al Sheikh, Director of Consumer Sales at Ooredoo, said “We are proud to join forces with Shell Oman as one of our premium sales partners. Our partnership with the company is part of our commitment to making sure our products are accessible to all, especially whilst on the go. We began a trial of sales through service stations last year and as a result of its success, Ooredoo customers will be able to recharge at a wider number of Shell service stations by the end of the second quarter of 2018.”

Currently available in over 100 Shell service stations and with more to be added, the increasing number of stations is one more way Ooredoo is leading the customer experience. Users can purchase e-recharges directly from the service stations and the environmentally friendly electronic recharges are made without physical cards, but instead through an electronic device, all without leaving your vehicle.

Khalid Hashil Al Awaisi, Retail Country Manager at Shell Oman said “Our partnership with Ooredoo provides customers with this convenient service as part of Shell Oman non-fuel retail strategy, and enhances customers experience in our service stations. In addition, we are glad to be working with an Omani SME, Said Al- Shamsi Trading, to be the distributor of Ooredoo e-recharge in Shell service stations’.

As part of Ooredoo’s commitment to its customers, the company remains dedicated to be the Sultanate’s data experience leaders by providing new digital easy-reach ways for customers to stay connected and keep in touch with family and friends.
