Batelco Sponsors Red Bull Kart Fight

Mobilk - Batelco’s Youth Marketing Team, as part of its commitment to sports and the community, is sponsoring Red Bull’s Kart Fight Bahrain series of events, with the Bahrain finals set to take place at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) on Thursday 11th December.

After 6 weeks of qualifiers and over 400 participants entering, the fastest 40 will now compete to find the top 2 drivers to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain at the World Finals which will take place at Austria’s Red Bull Ring in February 2015.

Batelco Group General Manager Media Relations Ahmed Al Janahi said that Batelco was a very keen supporter of motor sports events which provide great opportunities for participants and fantastic entertainment for the general public.

“We are very well known as a key partner of the Bahrain International Circuit and over the years we have supported a number of motor sports events and also sponsor our own racing team, Batelco Racing. Lending our support to the Red Bull Kart Fight events fits in well with our commitment to the sport in general,” he added.
