Ooredoo Sponsors Teams in Adiso Football League

Mobilk - Ooredoo has backed the popular Adiso Football League for the 2016-2017 season by sponsoring the final tournament and two of its youth teams; one playing in the under 14s category and the other in the Under 16s age group.

And with a firm belief in the power of sport to inspire boys and girls in all aspects of their lives, we are delighted to support the participation of these two energetic teams in the Adiso Football League,” said Kumail Al Moosawi Ooredoo, Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer at Ooredoo.

He added: “We have been inspired by their improving technique as they have progressed through the Academy, at the hands of Adiso’s expert coaches. It is a fun and structured environment for the talented youngsters to take part in the extremely competitive Adiso League. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the players and coaches of both teams on all their hard work and the fantastic spirit they showed during the season. My colleagues and I are now excited to see how the lessons the young players learned about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and the importance of self-discipline, fair play and teamwork impact on their personal development on and off the football pitch.”
