For those getting the More Credit Recharge of RO10, RO12.5 credit will be given, valid for 25 days along with free WhatsApp for the same period. New Ooredoo customers can take advantage of the fantastic introductory offer when they buy their Ooredoo Mousbak Welcome pack. After activating the pack they should dial *141*116# to opt in to the free WhatsApp service. In order to keep the free WhatsApp activated for the full six months, credit should be recharged by a minimum of RO1 every month.

Customers should note that while the free WhatsApp has a generous maximum usage limit of 250MB per recharge, once this quota has been used usual data tariffs will be applied. Additionally, any external link sent through WhatsApp will be charged according to the customer’s active 3G/4G plan or WiFi. The free WhatsApp offer is strictly for use in Oman and customers using WhatsApp while travelling will be charged at normal roaming rates.
