Mobilk - The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (“TRA”) of the Kingdom of Bahrain hosted yesterday Lunch for all its female employees at the Ritz Carlton Hotel marking the 2013 Bahraini Women’s Day under the theme “Woman and Media”, which is celebrated on December 1 every year. This comes in recognition of their efforts and effective contribution to pushing forward the development in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Mr. Mohamed Bubashait, TRA’s General Director, praised the outstanding efforts of the Bahraini woman valuing the role played by the woman as a complimentary element in nation-building and growth, and appreciating the role played by the female employees in TRA with the rest of the staff for the advancement of TRA and supporting its achievements.
On the other hand, the female employees in TRA expressed their thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his infinite support to the Bahraini woman in various fields, including the field of telecommunications. They also congratulated Bahrain’s First Lady HRH Princess Sabika bint Ebrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King, President of the Supreme Council for Women for her support to the Bahraini woman in various fields.
