Five Lucky Winners Receive Playstation 4 from Ooredoo speed upgrade promotion

Mobilk - Providing even more for customers to enjoy the internet, Ooredoo announced the five lucky winners of their speed upgrade promotion campaign for Superfast Home Broadband customers. Ashgar Ali, Khalaf Al Abri, Al Yaqdhan Al Rashdi, Ahmed Al Zabi and Faiz Al Siyabi were awarded a Sony Playstation 4 (PS-4).

The month long campaign ran throughout January and was carried out through Ooredoo’s social media channels and a Radio program. Participants were required to share a screenshot of a speed test for a chance to win a PS-4. Existing customers on the 20, 50 and 100 mbps contracts were upgraded to the next plan with the same monthly fee, while new users had their speeds updated to the next speed for three months.    

“Our aim is to continuously enhance all aspects of Ooredoo’s Superfast Fibre Home Broadband through a host of value-added services and products”, said Feras bin Abdullah Al Shaikh, Director of Consumer Sales at Ooredoo. “We wanted to reward our loyal customers with even more, by giving them a free speed upgrade to the next plan up. We understand that data use is constantly changing and more and more households are playing online games, streaming videos and connecting multiple devices to the WiFi in their homes. To reflect this trend, we wanted to enhance customer experience and their digital lifestyle offered through a speed upgrade promotion. I would like to thank everyone who participated in the campaign and congratulate the winners.”
